In 2007, the Borough of Norwood, New Jersey donated a Conservation Easement to the Meadowlands Conservation Trust to preserve environmentally sensitive woodlands in perpetuity. The land is approximately a 65 acre tract in Norwood known as Fox Hill West located from McClellan Street west to Old Tappan and north to Northvale.

The site is conducive to accommodating passive recreational trails.
